Can I take cash instead of having my bathroom remodeled?

No, there is no cash option.

Can I select different materials?

Yes, you can select different materials from those that are obtainable by MRWW. If what is selected costs more money, you will be responsible for paying the difference. There will be no refund or credit for material selections that are less than what is included.

I want a fancier bathroom, can I pay the cost difference?

Yes, you can upgrade certain aspects of the prize package from the base remodel, but are responsible to pay the cost difference.

Can I gift this to another person?

The Prize has no cash value and may not be transferred. The Prize winner must be within the service area, the Prize is subject to final approval by both the contest winner and MWRR of the project plans.

How The Contest Works

  • One Entry per person, per week

  • There's a Weekly Preliminary Drawing on Monday's, where we will post a video drawing ONE name from the previous week's entrants. 

  • After 4 weeks,  we will do a Contact Form Drawing, where ONE name will be selected out of those who completed our contact form

  • MWRR will select the THREE bathrooms we think are the Ugliest and hold a public vote to determine which is the ugliest.

  • The Final Draw will take place after the contest is closed 

  • The Final Draw will be out of the FOUR Weekly Preliminary Drawing winners, ONE Contract Form Drawing winner, and the publicly voted Ugliest Bathroom winner!

How To Enter?

Step 1: Find a current week "Ugly Bathroom Contest" post

Step 2: Leave a comment with a picture of your ugly bathroom

Step 3: Check the Monday video to see if you were a Preliminary Drawing winner

Step 4: Repeat steps 1 & 2 each week, until the end of the contest

Ugly Bathroom Contest - Terms & Conditions

  1. No purchase necessary:  Any purchase of goods or services from MWRR will not improve the chances of winning.

  2. Sponsor: The giveaway is sponsored by Matt Weyand Repairs & Renovations LLC (“MWRR”).

  3. Eligibility: Must be 18+, be the legal owner of the home, and reside within 30 minutes of our office at 1500 S Walnut St, Muncie, Indiana or be in Delaware County, Indiana. MWRR may verify eligibility and may disqualify any entrant at its sole discretion.

  4. Prize: One (1) winner will receive a Keep It Simple Bathroom Remodel valued up to $17,232.24. Upgrades or changes beyond the base package are optional and at the winner’s expense. The prize has no cash value and is non-transferable. The winner may not request cash, credit, or any substitute other than the prize packaged offered.

  5. Project Conditions: Prize does not include additional costs due to unforeseen conditions or additional work discovered during demolition (e.g., structural issues, plumbing defects, subfloor repairs, mold, code upgrades, etc.). Any such items are the responsibility of the winner.

  6. Project Upgrades: The winner may choose to upgrade any component by paying only the difference between the base package and the selected premium option.

  7. MWRR Rights:

    • MWRR may modify, suspend, or cancel the contest or any of its rules at any time for any reason, without penalty.

    • All scheduling, material selections, and project timelines are at MWRR’s discretion.

  8. Entry & Winner Selection: Entry method and selection process may be changed, adjusted, or replaced by MWRR at any time. Winner must respond within 48 hours, or the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.

  9. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning are subject to the number of entries and participants.

  10. Liability Release: By entering, participants agree that MWRR, its owners, and employees, are not liable for any claims, damages, delays, or losses arising from participation or prize use.

  11. Choice of Venue: The terms and conditions of this offering shall be governed by the state laws of the Indiana, and all participants agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to this offering shall be heard in the circuit courts of Delaware County, State of Indiana.

  12. Waiver of Claims: To the extent applicable by law, the winner acknowledges and consents to the waiver of any implied or express warranties unless otherwise stated herein.

  13. Publicity: Winner agrees to allow MWRR to use project photos, videos, and related content for marketing purposes without further compensation.

  14. ​Winner Responsibilities: Must schedule remodel within 90 days of winning. Must be available for standard MWRR communication. Must allow photo/video documentation for marketing purposes.

  15. Acceptance of Terms: Participation in the contest constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
