Mark your calendars for May 25th, the day to gather at the picturesque Prairie Creek Reservoir for a day filled with camaraderie, fun, and giving back to our veterans.

What: Catfish Pirates Community Gathering & Tournament
Where: Prairie Creek Reservoir, Muncie, Indiana
When: May 25th, 2024
Time: Event kicks off at 2 pm
​
Tournament: For the avid anglers, the tournament kicks off on Saturday at 8 PM and runs through the night until Sunday at 8 AM. Bring your A-game and compete for some fantastic prizes!
​
Even if you're not planning to participate in the fishing tournament, bring along your lawn chair and soak in the festivities! With door prizes, incredible raffles, and a main meat course provided, there's something for everyone.
​
But the best part? All proceeds from this event go towards supporting our veterans right here in Delaware County. From assisting with rides to medical appointments to organizing fishing trips with all expenses covered, your support helps make a real difference in the lives of those who've served our country.

Sweet Liberty Ranch Horse Rescue
Sweet Liberty Ranch Horse Rescue takes the time to rehabilitate neglected horses, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. So far, they have rescued about 40 horses from kill pens and have successfully placed around 32 of them into loving homes. Their team works tirelessly to bring these horses back to health, starting with proper nourishment and treatment for diseases by their local veterinarian. They also evaluate each horse to see if they can be ridden again, offering them the opportunity for a fulfilling life.

We are absolutely delighted to shine a spotlight on the heartwarming and magical Delaware County Special-Needs Prom, a remarkable event dedicated to creating unforgettable moments for individuals with special needs. Mark your calendars for a series of pre-prom celebrations leading up to the main event on May 18th, 2024, at the Horizon Convention Center from 5-8 pm.
